1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelCine mobile application ("App") developed by Carlos Ribeiro ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and accept these Terms in full.

2. Description of Service

ReelCine is a social movie recommendation application that allows users to:

• Discover movies via the TMDB API
• Create and manage a personal watchlist
• Create or join private groups
• Share movie recommendations within groups
• View a community feed of recommendations

3. User Accounts

To use ReelCine, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or email/password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ReelCine to:

• Post offensive, abusive, or inappropriate content
• Harass, threaten or harm other users
• Spam or send unsolicited messages
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Reproduce or distribute copyrighted content without permission

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post in ReelCine (recommendations, comments, group names). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. Intellectual Property

The ReelCine application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Carlos Ribeiro. Movie data is provided by The Movie Database (TMDB) and is subject to their terms of use. All movie posters, titles and related content are the property of their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

ReelCine is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Carlos Ribeiro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of ReelCine, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at crls.ribeiro.dev@gmail.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, in compliance with the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law 13,709/2018), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
