Grocery Home ("the App") is a household grocery shopping list app that helps families and roommates coordinate a shared shopping list, track purchase history, and split shopping duties. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your choices.
Account information. When you create an account (email/password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple), we collect your email address, name, and phone number (optional). A profile photo is also optional.
Content you create. Shopping list items, quantities, notes, item photos, receipt photos, and purchase records you add to your household's list.
Household data. Your household's shopping list, purchase history, and member list are shared with the other members of that household — that's the core purpose of the App. We do not share this data with people outside your household.
Push notification token. Used to send you notifications about list activity (new items, items not found while shopping, approvals).
We do not collect:
Grocery Home stores data using Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Messaging), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. We do not operate our own servers for this data.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third-party advertisers. Your shopping list, purchase history, and profile information are visible only to the members of your own household.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App (Account > Delete Account). You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email address below. We will delete your account data within a reasonable time after verifying your request.
Grocery Home is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
